Popular singer Mawi (Asmawi Ani) married Norashikin Rahmat, who is also known as Ekin, at the Sultan Abu Bakar Mosque in Johor Baru on Dec 20. The ceremony was telecast live. We know that Mawi is one of the famous singers and had won in many awards. The wedding ceremony was more grandeur and lavish than the other artists. Of course he deserves to own it as one of the famous singer, but it is better just hold the wedding ceremony in moderately and not too misspent. Why we have to misspend for the thing not beneficial. Why not Mawi and Ekin just donate their money of wedding ceremony to the orphanage? It will give more benefits to both sides, to the donor and acceptor. Although the ceremony was sponsored by MAESTRO and famous boutiques like Butik Cosry, Habib and others, Mawi still can terminate the proposal and donate to the charities or orphanage. May be on one view, it will close the relationship between artist and public, but on the other view, it just a waste. Furthermore, it had been stated in the Holy Quran that Allah do not like the waste man. Besides, the most important thing the blessing of Allah we want to grab. Moreover, Mawi’s wedding caused the conflict between two parties, MAESTRO and TV3 where both institutions want to broadcast the akad nikah through their channel. It is not good to our harmony and it will cause an unfriendly. So, we have to think deeply before we done our ceremony, duty, or our responsibilities to unsure everything will be fine and not too much.
