article review chapter2

Article review-chapter 2 (language learning)
It's better to use our own teacher by DR M. A. NAIR, Bandar Muadzam Shah

It's better to use our own teacher is the great suggestion of article for me. Its title itself was influenced me to read from the first word until the end of the word. It is true that we ought to use our own teachers to teach English among rural schools in order to increase the level of English itself. The education department should not only send the proficient English teachers to the urban schools but also to the rural schools. If the trained English teachers only send to the urban schools, how students in the rural schools will improve their lack of English-learning or speaking. It is not necessary that trained English teachers would teaching in urban schools, assuming that rural schools only suitable with the untrained and not proficient English teachers. This is totally not fair to the rural students! How they would able to score more than Band 3 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET)? They also want to be good in their English either in speaking or learning. Furthermore, the teachers from other disciplines should not send to the schools to teach English, otherwise it will become something futile. Then, I totally agree with the idea to recruit the retired English teachers to teach English in rural schools in order to improve the language proficiency. In addition, the approach to use audio-visual technology, the Internet television and other commercial gadgets on language learning was good like the approach used by all high schools. This approach was really good besides will make students more understand about what were they learn. Lastly, I hope this idea on this by the education department.
